  • Laurie Parenton

    DVM

Dr. Parenton was born in Tampa, Florida and after spending many years away for school, returned to the Sunshine State to be close to her family. While working as a CPA in Tampa, she realized that her true calling was veterinary medicine, focusing on small companion animals. She has one cat, Minou, a German Shepherd mix, Sherman, and an Aussie/Pointer mix puppy named Cooper. Dr. Parenton enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 year old daughter when she's not here at our hospital!. I love working in the animal field. I meet so many wonderful people everyday and the trust that they have in me and our team is priceless. It puts a smile on my face to see our furry four legged family members dragging their parents behind them, wagging their tail all the way. It's very rewarding to have a job that doesn't feel like a job at all!.
